experience the beauty of bolinao. takasan ang maynila at halina sa bolinao. :)

Bolinao Pangasinan

Folk etymology attributes the name "Bolinao" or this remote fishing enclave from the fish piece "monamon" but commonly called "Bolinao" by the Tagalogs, Bicolanos and the Visayans. A theory also points out that once upon a time "pamulinawen" trees grew luxuriantly along its shores, thus, the Ilocano migrants who crossed the Lingayen Gulf named it phonetically similar to the name of the tree. Nowadays, however, such tree does not exist anymore. google

How to get to bolinao?

BY CAR - we went there by car. take sctex then from tarlac exit turn left papuntang urdaneta. turn left at 1st stop light (alexander st-calasiao urdaneta road). then dadaanan nyo ang mga bayan ng binmaley, lingayen, labrador, sual, alaminos and bani.  meron ding way via camiling pero pabalik kami dumaan dun. MAP

BY BUS - from cubao or pasay meron direcho bolinao like 5-star and some buses to alaminos lang. lilipat nalang dun ng local bus pa bolinao. wala po aqng idea how much ung cost ng fare but i heard less than 500 daw.

ARRIVE in Bolinao

pagdating dun, madaming pwedeng gawin. as in sobrang dami. just ask the locals or visit their tourism office para malaman nyo kung san kau pupunta. pero kami, we experienced the famous PATAR beach.

1st stop CINDY's CAVE

there are 3 caves in patar. we went to CINDY's cave because according to locals, this is the largest and child friendly cave. So dahil may kasama kaming mga bata, we chose this cave. Entrance Fee is 100 pesos per head UNLI swimming na po un. Swim til sawa at manginig mga panga namin because of cold water ng cave.

Where to STAY

madaming resorts sa Patar. From classy one to budget friendly. name it! Syempre we listened to local's advice pa rin to stay at Public Resorts. Ang term nila is "dulong resort". It's because never naglolowtide sa area na un. If maglow tide man, di ramdam.

with double deck queen sized bed and free 1 open cottage for PhP1000 over night. sulit na sulit kasi...

20 steps away lang xa from the beautiful white and fine sand....

kaya enjoy talaga mga bata kasi unlimited swimming anytime sila sa sobrang lapit ng beach.

What awaits you there

NIGHT-LIFE.... @ THE SHORE

BOAT and Island Hop experience.... CLIFF diving

CAPE bolinao
